Take the train from Edinburgh Waverley, every 30 minutes or more often. It takes 15 minutes, and costs £5.70 for a cheap day return

Take the First 38 bus from Edinburgh's West End every 30 minutes or more often. It takes about an hour. Get a First Day ticket for £6.
